I have bet on countless of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a few months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
