I have wagered on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Take $5 paid to you, leave the first five dollar wager

Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
