I have wagered on countless of rounds of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
